During this consultation we will learn about your family dynamics. We will go over the specific needs for your family. We will cover the weekly schedule and the job responsibilities.
We send you candidate profiles to review. Once you have had the opportunity to review the cv's we will schedule Skype interviews with the candidates. We will include the candidate's photo and letters of recommendations. We will not disclose candidates' personal information such as phone number, email and address. During the recruitment and selection process the agency will remain the point of contact between family and the candidates. After the interview we will call you to discuss how it went and to obtain a feedback so we know whether and how to process the case further. If none of the candidates are suitable, we will continue this process until you are satisfied with your choice.
Trial run with the nanny
The trial period allows both parties to assess whether a long term or a short term working arrangement is likely to work. The parents can judge the candidate skills, character and the candidate should also determine if the family might be a good fit. The agency will put the terms of the trial in writing to ensure everyone has the right expectations. If both parties are happy at the end of the trial, the family will then offer a permanent position.
It is the agency's responsibility to ensure that the candidate settles into her role as quickly and effectively as possible. The nanny or governess will be more productive when she has the right skills, knows what she is supposed to do and how her role affects the family as a whole. We will work closely with the nanny or governess to make sure that she understands your requirements. The induction period will commonly be 1 month.
To retain the best nannies or governesses, we recommend the following incentives:
